THE RESULTS ARE IN!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2009 Madison-Chicago 200. We hope that you all had a wonderful time touring the Great Midwest. And thank you to our dedicated Volunteer Corps. The race would not be possible without them. Congratulations to Electric Boogaloo, who successfully fended off a strong challenge from the Cougar Running Club to repeat as Overall Champions.

And, there is still time to raise funds for Girls on the Run-Chicago. The top fundraising team as of midnight, June 30, 2009 wins an entry in the 2010 MC200! Click here to donate.
The Madison-Chicago 200 Relay is one of the most unique and fun running events that you will ever experience. Form a team of up to 12 members, and join us on a 200-mile adventure race from Madison, the Capital City of Wisconsin, to the shores of the Windy City of Chicago.
Enjoy the scenic paths and roadways, and experience the particular charm of the volunteers and community groups along the Madison-Milwaukee-Chicago corridor that only the Midwest can deliver.
For those of you who want to test your foot speed, we have partnered with the Milwaukee Mile - the oldest operating auto-racing track in the United States - located on the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in West Allis. Finish your leg with a lap around the one-mile oval on your way to Chicago.
You can do it! Can you run a total of 11 to 21 miles, broken down into 3 "legs", within a 36-hour period? Do you have friends who can too? Then you're on the way to forming a team!
The 2009 running of the Madison-Chicago 200 Relay will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 12 & 13, 2009. Registration will be limited to the first 200 teams.
All registered participants will receive a rockin' MC200 technical running shirt that will become one of your favorite running tops. And everyone who makes the trek to Chicago will receive a deluxe finisher's medal. Awards will also be given to winning teams in 18 award categories.
The MC200 generates funds to support the mission of Special Olympics of Wisconsin and Illinois.
The MC200 also welcomes its newest partner: Girls on the Run-Chicago! You can start a fundraising team, or make a contribution to a fundraising team, by going onto this website: www.active.com/donate/MC200GOTRC, or simply click here. The team that raises the most funds for Girls on the Run-Chicago, in excess of $1,000, by June 30, 2009 will receive a complimentary entry in the 2010 MC200.
